Maulana Azad Educational Trust’s Y.B. Chavan College of Pharmacy an unaided religious
Minority institute, was founded in 1989 by the late Chairman of Maulana Azad Educational
Trust, Dr Rafiq Zakaria and has 34 years of history as the flagship of pharmaceutical. Education
in the region of Marathwada. As an unaided
religious minority institution, YBCCP continues to uphold its founding vision
of providing quality education with
scientific excellence, secular values, and a spirit of social transformation.
Over three decades, the college has grown from strength to strength, achieving
significant academic and institutional milestones. It is ISO 21001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 certified, approved by
the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI),
AICTE, and UGC, and affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University
(Dr. BAMU), Aurangabad. YBCCP holds NAAC “A+” accreditation with a CGPA of 3.36,
and from the academic year 2025–26,
it proudly operates as an autonomous
institute. In the NIRF 2025
Rankings, the college achieved an All India Rank of 88 among pharmacy institutions, reflecting its
consistent academic excellence and research output.
