Dr Dehghan has 29 years of Teaching and Research experience and more than nine years of administrative experience as Principal of Y B Chavan College of Pharmacy. He has guided more than 95 M.Pharm students for their dissertation in the subject of Pharmaceutics and Quality Assurance and nine (09) students have completed their doctoral studies under his guidance. Dr Dehghan has one Indian patent granted and four patents' applications published, he has co-authored one book, more than102 research papers in per-reviewed national and international research journals of repute. He is the MoE’s IIC Innovation Ambassador and has been convener/ speaker/session chairman/cochairman at various seminars and national and international conferences and is a paper setter/ examiner/ member of staff selection/inspection committees/board of studies/assessor, of various Universities and statutory bodies. Dr Dehghan is the member of International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering, Florida USA. Life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) and Association of Community Pharmacist of India. He was the Vice President of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, Maharashtra State (from 2013 to 2016) Dr Dehghan is the recipient of various awards which include: • e4e Academic Leaders Award 2010, instituted jointly by DVIIT Foundation, Aurangabad, Indian Society for Training and Development, Aurangabad Chapter and Aurangabad Parents Cultural Association. • ‘Shikshan Seva Gaurav Puraskar” instituted by the Shikshan Maharshi Vasantrao Kale Pratishthan, Aurangabad Maharashtra on 3rd January 2015. • 11th Innovative Education Leadership Award instituted by DNA and Star Group, Mumbai on 16th February 2019. • 27th Buisness School Affaire & Dewang Metha National Education Award for Best Professor in Pharmaceutics awarded on 29th August 2019 at Vivanta, Aurangabad.
